ECF Under 18 (Minor) County Champions 2009

On 28 February, a Staffordshire team went to Heanor Gate, Derbyshire to compete in the ECF’s Under 18 County Championships 2009. The team that went were:

In the two rounds of chess, the team gained a magnificent 11 points out of a possible 12, making them the outright winners with the title

ECF Under 18 (Minor) County Champions 2009.

The overall placings in the Under 18 minor section were as follows (For this competition, minor meant that there were 6 players in each team and their average grade was under 90.):
